Myopia Management
Our Clinic is certified to prescribe the new MiyoSmart myopia control lenses, developed by Hoya together with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
This innovative lens uses Defocus Incorporated Multiple Segments (D.I.M.S.) technology incorporating a single vision corrective lens with a convex surface that is comprised of hundreds of small segments, each providing myopic defocus. This lens structure makes it possible to simultaneously slow the growth of the eyeball and provide clear vision.
Based on a two-year clinical trial results, MiyoSmart is proven to curb myopia progression in children on average by 60%.* In 2018, it was awarded the prestigious Grand Prize, Grand Award and Special Gold Award at the 46th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, Switzerland.

Digital Retinal Photography, Visual Field Tests and Colour Vision Assessments
We may also conduct some additional tests such as digital retinal photography to monitor your eye health, a visual field test for your peripheral vision and a colour vision assessment to check for colour vision deficiency.
Occular Health
We measure your visual acuity – how well you can see – and assess your eyes for new visual acuity and optical correction. We also check your eye muscle balance and your eye health, looking for signs of cataract, macular degeneration, diabetes-related eye changes, glaucoma and other eye conditions.
Specialist Referral
At Dezine Optical, we work closely with ophthalmologists and other medical professionals. If we have any concerns following your eye test with us, we will refer you for further examination and opinion.
